This was a great book.. Truly addicting. I like that OL keeps all the supernaturals that we know and love but also introduces us to something new. A keeper is a new supernatural species to me along with other surprise's that OL adds in the book.

Izzy has been trying to find out what took her mother and everyone thinks that she is crazy. Her father is no help since he has become a drunk. She has to see shrink after shrink since everyone thinks that she is crazy. Then she meets Michael.

Michael is the first boy that she has ever been attracted to. They eventually start to become close and she tells him about her mother and he is the first person to believe her and not think that she is crazy. Then she meets Vincent.

Vincent is rude and sarcastic and Izzy can't seem to figure out why she likes him. Along with meeting Vincent comes the truth. Michael has been keeping secrets and Vincent is all to willing to tell what those are. Michael is a Werewolf, Vincent is a Vampire and Izzy is a Keeper. Along with these truths comes the fact that Izzy is in danger.

They need to find out what danger and put a stop to it. Come to find out the danger is a lot bigger than they thought.

I highly recommend this book and I'm getting ready to start book two myself. I can't wait to read it and find out what else OL has in store for us!

This book was amazing I have to say I read them backwards I said I would read the second book and give a review but I didn't know it was not the first book till I started to read it and was like what? So I finished it because I had to get the review in but was blown away that I was able to follow and how much I loved it then to go back and read this one was a bit weird but wow O.L Ramos did a fantastic job this book was so great I love how we get all the supernaturals that we know and love but also introduces us to something new. A keeper is a new supernatural species to me along with other surprise's that OL adds in the book.This is a must for everyone.
Okay so usually when I read the first couple pages I find if I'm interested or not..... I really wasn't. It took me awhile to warm up to Liz. I downloaded this book a long time ago and I'm really glad I did bc I would read a couple chapters then come back to it. Then towards the middle of the book was when I got pulled in. So needless to say I really do like Liz's character. I bought the next two books and have 're viewed the second book. I read it in a couple days it was that good. Give this book a chance..
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for the next one in the series. Will Izzy find happiness after being reunited with her mom? Will she find the love of her life? Who is going to end up with the broken heart, Vincent or Michael? It is possible to love two people at once, and I find myself cheering for both hero's!! At this point I don't know who I want Izzy to choose, but I do know I want whoever doesn't win her heart to find some sort of peace in their life. I want the balance of the world to continue and I want all life to thrive and get along.
I didn't put this book down until the last page, so forgive me if I don't make any sense. My eyeballs feel like they're about to pop out of their sockets and that may be quite grotesque! This book, however? Anything BUT grotesque. I really love supernatural anything and this book was naturally right up my alley! I have to say it was rather easy to get into it. You know how most books take a while to build up? Sort of like a roller coaster, I guess you could say. HA. Not the case here! I was already teetering at the tip top with this book, and it doesn't take long before you're speeding down the hill and screaming at the top of your lungs.

Got a good visual now? Good! It's probably bad to say, but I can relate with our main girl here because shrinks aren't any fun..and it's worse when people think there's something wrong with you, and I can identify with how frustrating it can be. If only I lived in this world where I'd seen something! Okay, I'm getting off track. Where was I? Oh yes! This author has a way with words. I am a firm believer that only a few choice writers in the world have a talent at weaving words together in the perfect way to keep you captivated. This author most certainly has it! This story left me satisfied and ready to read more, which I definitely plan to do in the near future. I honestly can't wait to see what happens next! Guess I need to get the next book. ; )
Loved the spin of the 'Keeper' in this book along with the usual Vamps and Were's and 'Others'. It kept me turning the pages to see what Lizzy was getting into next and what Michael and Vincent would do to catch her attention and what they would do to keep her safe. This was a well written, thought out book. I really liked Vincent and his blunt sarcastic comments, he made me LOL alot. I didn't know who to root for, him or Michael, and still don't!! ) As soon as I finished reading this book I was already looking for the next in the series and then purchased them all so I can continue the Saga. There are a couple spots that you really feel a YA vibe from, cause LIzzy is only 19 and she acts it, BUT you won't be disappointed with this read.
I discovered OL on facebook and after chatting with him and among his Keeper Clan I had put all of his books on my tbr list. I have just finished the first book and can not wait to read the second book. At first I did have my reservations when starting the book but as I went along I realized it was nothing like the other series. I especially like how all the supernatural creatures are put into the book as helping one another out in one way or another. Ramos leaves nothing unturned in his story, however it is a cliffhanger so to know what happens you will need to read the next installment.

The basic is it is a paranormal romance with a love triangle between the main characters. Unexpected circumstances come up and they all become closer as one. I'm sorry I do not like leaving spoilers. If you liked the Twilight series this is a 100% better than that, and even if you didn't like the Twilight series, The Keeper Series is a must read.
